Of sexuality and bullying

This is going to be a short post.

A couple of days ago I read about the four teenagers who committed suicide in U.S because they were bullied for their sexuality. It broke my heart to know that these kids, who were supposed to be protected and who were supposed to be enjoying their youth, took their own lives because they couldn't be themselves.

How dare people judge other people for being different! This is a free world, you damn bigots! People have the right to choose, if that's even the right word, of what gender the people they love! And NO, this is NOT about preferences! Who says that we can choose whom we love? Who says that we can choose to love people of the opposite gender? NO ONE! And NOBODY has the fucking right to judge it!

So what if the religions in the world forbid homosexuals? Who the hell creates religions if not humans, anyway? Are those humans perfect? Are they sinless? Who are they to judge homosexuals? Who told them that they are sinless and have the right to cast the first stone? I believe every religion in this world teaches their people NOT TO JUDGE. If they condemn others for their sexuality, so who's going to hell now? Next time we want to say something about other people, think twice.

My heart goes to the dead children and for their families and friends. And for the bullies, may you rot in hell forever - you have the dead kids blood on your hands.

  1. Regulations not to regulate people, but the rules exist because life requires regularity, such as the nature of the universe is rotating with remarkable regularity. if there is one planet that does not irregular, then surely the disaster and destroyed.

  3. Well, whether we like it or not, there will always be people who are so good about preaching what is right but can't even do it themselves. As to religion, I think the teachings will always be "divine" but the problem is on the part of the "believers"??. Nobody is perfect, not even a saint proclaimed by another human. As human beings, there will always be this spark of being judgmental in all of us, NO exceptions. The thing is, we should also practice our right to judgment with limits - as long as it does not undermine the rights of others to be who they are and what they would want to be. Thanks for the post by the way. :)

  6. It breaks my heart to hear these kinds of news. To take one's own life is a sin but we cannot blame these people who commit suicide but the situations they are in. Bullying is really a common in school children. This requires a lot of guidance from parents of the bully and the bullied children. Parents tend to be so busy earning money but they don't even know that the most important things are those money can't buy. And another things, it's also a sad reality that we cannot do anything about these people who criticize others. People usually don't share the same ideals and beliefs. If we can only learn to respect each others' opinions and disposition I am sure the world will be a quiet place to live.

  10. It is very sad news. But I am surely agree with you. I always think that there is no any religion, no cast and no border in the world. All people are unite. There is only one religion that is Humanity. This is my dream. But unfortunately I don't know when it will be fulfill.

  14. Hey, I've read that story too. Though, I can say that people are usually judgmental, I mean, that is the general attitude of human, eh. However, there are circumstances that our being too judgmental could have bad consequence on others. Just like what happened on that 4 teenagers.

  15. Come on you cannot bully someone for their sexuality. I hate such people. Their sexuality is their personal thing. No one has the right to judge anyone.

  17. This really is shocking... I totally agree with you. Nobody should be judged for their sexuality or religion. I am single, straight, atheist male.
And i have a lot of gay friends not to mention that i've even worked in a gay bar - so in general.
Leave different people alone. Next time you judge someone - think would you do it if that someone was you?

  18. We should be checking our morals. Life has became so complicated and so depressing. What will happen in the future if we continue to degrade as humans.
